After working for other law firms in Charlotte, N.C. and in Charleston, Sue established Teschner Law Firm in 2001. Her practice includes Business, Taxation, Estate Planning and Probate administration, for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies. Her experience in corporate law, tax planning and litigation, estate planning and probate, tax-exempt organization creation and minority shareholder litigation support rounds out the firm’s practice. Prior to practicing law, Sue was a CPA for Ernst & Young for entertainment clients and a Co-Controller for O’Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles.
She received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Oklahoma and earned her
LLM in Taxation from NYU School of Law, the highest ranked tax law
school in the Unites States. She holds a B.A. from the University of California Santa Barbara.
